Dear KSD Families,
Welcome back to school! We look forward to seeing you on campus, in the classrooms and at our many events throughout the year. Your KSPTA is the volunteer backbone of the District. Last year alone, our parents volunteered nearly 15,000 hours of their time to serve lunch to our kids, work in the library, help out at Art for Bears, keep our kids safe while getting to school, and supporting our KSD teachers and staff. We were also able to run fundraising activities with 100% of the monies going back into our schools and our kids’ programs!
There are many ways for you to get involved and support our schools. Volunteering is one of the best ways for you to spend time at school with your kids, get to know the teachers and staff and meet new people who become some of your best friends and resources. Look for volunteer opportunities at Bacich and Kent and choose what works best with your schedule.
