Our Kentfield School District Safe Routes to School program has won a California PTA “Spotlight” award in the category of “Collaboration.”
Your neighborhood captains monitor and identify traffic and safety concerns in your neighborhoods, connect with school administrators, county and other government personnel, and work together with them for solutions.
Their efforts have made a difference for our kids as they travel to and from school, and we are so pleased that the CA PTA has recognized their hard work!
The program will be recognized at the CA PTA convention in San Diego in May 2016.
