Attend the COM Board Meeting to hear a discussion on the new Maintenance Facility, among other agenda items.
As you may be aware, College of Marin (COM) is using Measure B funds to construct a new Maintenance and Operations facility next to Kent Middle School and the Corte Madera Creek. They plan to use the site to collect, compact and transfer trash, store maintenance materials, and house the maintenance vehicles and equipment for the entire COM Kentfield campus.

Ina Gotlieb of Kentfield Kids and Creeks will present community concerns about the project’s impact on the kids and staff at Kent as well as the creek habitat, and the Board will discuss and take questions. 30 minutes of the regular meeting has been allotted to this topic.
