Interested in being a Bacich Lead Room Parent?

Lead Room Parent (LRP) Job

Description & Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in being a Lead Room Parent. Once all Interest Forms have been submitted, key members of the Administration, Staff and PTA will work to create a balanced LRP roster for Grades K-4. It is very important that LRPs possess excellent communication skills, are inclusive and able to work with all parents in the classroom, and keep confidentiality within the classroom.

If we have more than enough qualified LRP candidates for your classroom, we hope you will consider the many other valuable volunteer opportunities at Bacich. To find out more about these opportunities, please go to the

Schoolwide Volunteer Opportunities page at the PTA website.

The LRP job includes (but is not limited to) the following responsibilities:

•     Act as key liaison between teacher and parents

•     Provide support for miscellaneous projects arranged by the teacher

•     Develop calendar for the classroom

•     Ensure you have coordinators for the following areas: Art for Bears, Car Line and Library as necessary. Make sure these coordinators understand how to use your online calendar.

•     Support the Cultural Day events, i.e.: Rancho Day 4th grade And Heritage Day 2nd grade

•     Help coordinate Teacher Appreciation Week activities

•     Organize End of the Year Thank You for teachers (click

HERE to view the Handbook, which contains guidelines for teacher gifts)

Please respond with your interest by

Friday, August 23,2013. We will contact LRPs as quickly as possible to confirm classroom assignments and disseminate information packets. There will be a training session for all LRPs within the first two weeks of school.

NOTE:

If for any reason you are unable to submit this form online shown below, please leave the information asked for, in legible writing, in the PTA Volunteer Inbox in the School Office.
